ICOLMA - Projektupdate
This in-person workshop constituted a significant milestone for the ICOLMA project, working on the impact of COVID-19 on livelihoods, mobility and accessibility of marginalised groups, offering an invaluable opportunity to deepen our collective analysis and strengthen our strategies for dissemination before the project will end in March 2025.
The agenda focussed on engaging discussions and insightful presentations. Key activities included:
- Presentations of Key Findings: Partners from each city presented their analyses, including space-time cluster analysis and thematic insights, leading to rich cross-cutting discussions on shared and unique findings across our study areas.
- Livelihood Assessment: We explored illustrative cases to assess livelihoods across the cities, delving into similarities and differences in challenges and strategies.
- Strategy Development: Focused sessions on comparison strategies in cooperation with the PROPASP research project „Planning with Global Comparison“ and publication planning laid the groundwork for disseminating our findings both academically and to broader audiences. We also brainstormed ideas for future projects and science engagement.
This workshop was a productive step forward, leaving us well-prepared for the tasks ahead. The week demonstrated the benefits of face-to-face collaboration, creating space for focused discussions and collective reflection. A shared dinner further contributed to strengthening our partnership in a more informal setting.
