Mourning for Annerose Rummel-Kajewski
- General

It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we bid farewell to our esteemed colleague Annerose Rummel-Kajewski, who left us far too soon on March 24, 2026.
For more than four decades, Annerose was an integral and formative part of our department. She was one of the first employees to move into her office when our department was still in its infancy. Since then, she has accompanied the development of the department and actively helped shape it with great commitment and tireless dedication.
Anyone who met Annerose encountered a cheerful, open-minded person. Her willingness to help was self-evident and she always had an open ear for the worries and concerns of her colleagues. She knew how to build bridges and maintain an atmosphere of togetherness even in hectic moments. She accompanied and supported generations of colleagues. For many of us, she was not only a colleague, but also a confidante and friend. Annerose was the "good soul" who left a lasting impression on the working environment with her positive charisma.
The pain of her sudden loss is deep, but we are grateful for the valuable time and the traces she left behind, which extend far beyond her professional career. Annerose will live on in our thoughts and memories - as a shining example of commitment, warmth and humanity.
Our thoughts are with her family and all those who were close to her. We miss you very much, dear Annerose. Rest in peace.
The staff of the Chair of Regional Development and Risk Management and the entire Department of Spatial Planning
