Winter semester 2024/2025
The Research Colloquium (FOKO) deals with current research projects at the Department of Spatial Planning. It is also a forum for guest speakers from all over the world and from all disciplines in the field of spatial research. New fields of research are highlighted, links between different disciplines are made clear and perspectives for the further development of spatial planning as a science are presented.
Two lecture events and a self-study day are held each semester. This gives researchers the opportunity to present their topics and enter into a discourse with the plenum. The topics of the events vary from semester to semester, with the latest research findings being presented, reports from research practice and a critical examination of the content.
The events are aimed at students and academics from the Department of Spatial Planning and other interested departments as well as interested practitioners. The series of events is assigned to the Studium Fundamentale in the Bachelor's degree program in Spatial Planning
