Siebtes LAND4CLIMATE Konsortiumtreffen in Ravenna Seventh LAND4CLIMATE consortium meeting in Ravenna

The meeting kicked off on Wednesday afternoon, when the LAND4CLIMATE team reconnected during a guided tour of the city, exploring its history, culture, and heritage.
Thursday marked the start of the meeting's working sessions. The morning focused on implementation insights, including the current status of dune engineering at the Parco Regionale del Delta del Po Emilia-Romagna, and was followed by parallel sessions bringing together academic and practitioner partners. After a morning of exchange, discussion, and reflection, the team headed to the Veins of Bellocchio area to visit one of the NBS implementation sites. The field visit and a walk through the beautiful landscape offered an opportunity to connect the technical activities discussed around the table with the realities of implementation on the ground. The day continued with a visit to Comacchio and the Manifattura dei Marinati, where another side of the Po Delta, its local traditions and cultural heritage, was discovered.
On Friday, the focus was on the exploitation, sustainability and long-term maintenance of NBS. Through interactive activities, partners explored Key Exploitable Results and exchanged ideas on how to ensure the project's lasting impact. The morning continued with discussions on outputs and deliverables, next steps, and organising our final event. In the afternoon, the team headed to Pialassa Baiona for a final excursion, bringing three days of discussion, collaboration, and field experience to a close.
